When the first Schrapel family came to the Barossa from Silesia in mid-1800’s, they planted fruit trees as well as grape vines.
More than 100 years later these trees still bear wonderful fruits at our historic Gherkin Garden.
Our jams and condiments are made from these blessings in Bethany using traditional recipes.
Our fig jam, marmalade, mustard and steak sauce were blended with Bethany’s favourite wines making each product distinctively unique.
