Their name “Zecca” in Italian means “mint”, where your money gets printed! This building was originally the Rural Bank and this is one way Zecca are paying homage to its history.
Their aim is to nourish the community with wholesome, quality, seasonal and authentic regional Italian food, using fresh, locally sourced produce. They are working together with local farmers and producers to showcase the best of what Griffith and the surrounding area has to offer.
Their idea is to help create a sense of community, whilst representing our Italian heritage in the preparation, education and sharing of traditional Italian food.
Zecca prepare fresh house made pasta every day, sauces, breads, preserves, salumi and cheese, and use locally grown fruit, vegetables, olive oils and wines. They produce and sell their own artisan dried pasta for you to enjoy at home when you can't eat with them!...
