A seated Buddha and alms bowl welcome you as you enter the restaurant, adorned elsewhere with colourful Nepalese ornaments and decorations, and the tantalising aromas of curries and spices cooking permeate the air. Among the authentic Himalayan delights you could sample are grilled lamb cutlets with raita, salad and rice; or try ganata of whole crab cooked in a creamy curry with a sprinkle of herbs; or consider the dal bhat, a Nepali style vegetarian platter of rice, roti, and lentil vegetable curry. If you’re after more variety, the banquets offer excellent value.
