Ultra-Trail Australia (formally The North Face 100) is five day running festival incorporating a 100 kilometre, 50 kilometre and 22 kilometre trail run through the world heritage listed Blue Mountains National Park. The UTA start/finish event hub is located at Scenic World, Katoomba.
The UTA festival also includes kids trail races and the UTA 951, a stair climb from the base of the iconic Furber steps to the Ultra-Trail Australia finish line at Scenic World. There is also an event expo, athlete forums, film festival and more.
UTA is part of the Ultra Trail World Tour and attracts runners of all levels from all over Australia and internationally vying for UTWT points.
