Mayfield Mew is a precinct of local historic significance as it has strong links to Henry Lawson who lived at adjacent Mayfield House on and off between 1899-1913 when it was known as Albury House.
The Mews is the site of the original coach house and stables site where ambience and authenticity provides for an exceptional shopping experience. Rustic, bespoke garden décor made by local artisans are very affordable. Home décor is of the highest quality and gift lines are quirky and different. The garden centre sells plants and seedlings, suited to regional conditions. Whilst visiting Mayfield Mews, relax and enjoy their highly rated air roasted coffee, or a chilled milkshake served the traditional retro way. Old fashioned, friendly customer service make this charming and vibrant destination a must see, in the Yass Valley. Air conditioned in summer, cosy wood fire in winter.
